Sweet Little Christmas!

Hello everyone,

I'm so excited to be back on the blog with Butterfly Reflections Ink.

Today I have a sweet little card featuring MFT.  This cute little girl is so adorable I couldn't resist using her on this card.

I used Tumbled Glass distress ink for the sky and I used a glitter glue for the snowflakes. I used the LF stitched hillside borders dies to create the snow hills in the background and then stamped and cut out the trees for interest.  I cut out a frame using the MFT Stitched Mini scalloped square stax and popped that up on foam tape.

I coloured in the little girl with copics and used the Wink of Stella to add some sparkle.  Cause no Christmas card is complete without some sparkles.  I then used the little banner from the MFT Winter Wonderland set and heat embossed a sentiment from the same set.

That's it for me today but don't forget to stop by the BRI shop cause there is a 25% off sale STORE WIDE!  But hurry, it's only on till Dec 31st!  It's a great time to use up some of that Christmas money!  ;)

Thanks for stopping by, have a very Merry Christmas!

Holiday Coffee Lovers Blog Hop - Skipping Stones Designs

Hello everyone!!!

It's time for the Holiday Coffee Lovers Blog Hop and I'm hopping along with Skipping Stones Designs and we are a Super Sponsor!!

When: December 11 - December 18
Time: 6:00 am pacific

We are also celebrating for our Cocoa and Tea lovers as well and here are the days dedicated to them:
December 13th: National Cocoa Day
December 15th: International Tea Day

I used the coffee cup from the Funny Coffee Vol. #1 and coloured it in with my copics.  I stamped the little snowflake in red ink and added a gemstone to the middle of some of the snowflakes on the front panel to give some interest.  I added some striped patterned paper under the happy and offset the second happy die cut so that you can see it better on the card. I popped the front panel and the coffee cup on foam tape to an A2 card base.

We are giving away a $20 gift certificate as well as two flash prizes.  All the details are on the Coffee Loving Papercrafters blog and the hop goes live Dec 11 to the 18th.

Thanks for stopping by and hope to see you along the hop!!!

Day 8 - Christmas Card Series

Hello everyone,

I'm back with Day 8 of my Holiday Card Series.

I can't get over how fast his card came together.  And if I had more of these stickers I would most definitely mass produce these for Christmas.

I used the brush stroke from the Brush Grunge Alpha set from Honey Bee Stamps and I stamped it with Maliblue and Fog SSS inks, added a puffy sticker from the November SSS card kit and added some of the adhesive-backed sequins that came with the kit as well as some Pretty Pink Post sweetness.   I stamped the sentiment in Smoke ink and called it done!

Thanks for stopping by, see you again soon.

AAA Cards Game #54 - Silent Night, Holy Night.

Hi everyone,

It's time for Game #54 with AAA Cards and our these this game is Silent Night, Holy Night and I just got this background stamp the other day and thought it would be perfect.  And I can never wait to play with my crafty goodies that come in.  ;)

On with my card!

There was some Christmas Sparkle embossing powder that came in the Nov SSS Card kit that has red and green glitter and I heat embossed the background on some watercolour paper with the Lattice Grid background stamp from SSS.  I then took some Picked Raspberries and Peacock Feathers distress inks and did some water colouring.  I purposely blended in the middle to create the purple colour.  These are my two most favourite colours of the distress colours.  Okay, most of them are my favourite, but who's keeping track!

I then took the Merry & Bright die and cut it out of navy shimmer paper from Recollections and glued it down the Tombo Mono.  I added the same shimmer paper to the sides to tie in the sentiment.  To finish it off I added some Sparkling Clear sequins and clear droplets.

Be sure to head over and link up your project!  We cannot wait to see what you all create!

Thanks for stopping by, see you again soon!

Day 7 - Christmas Cards Series

Hello everyone,

It's day 7 and I have to admit that this card has been partially completed for a while now and I finally figured out what to do.

I embossed the snowflakes with pearl embossing powder from Recollections and cut out a stitched rectangle and popped it up on foam tape to an A2 card base.

I cut out the Christmas from some red card stock I had in my stash and heat embossed in white the MERRY sentiment on a piece of black card stock.

Thanks for stopping by, see you again soon!
