AAA Cards Game 89 Bright & Beautiful & DT Call

Hello everyone,

We are back with a new game with AAA Cards.  Game 89 - Bright and Beautiful

See end of post for DT info.

I used a many thanks die and cut it out of watercolour paper and blended on Picked Raspberry and Squeezed Lemonade. I then took my distress sprayer and added water drops and dabbed it off with a paper towel. I added it to the card base and added some sparkly enamel dots in yellow to finish off the card.
Easy to reproduce and you can use any ink and colour you'd like.

Our amazing sponsor for this game is So Suzy Stamps - $25 gift certificate

We hope you'll head over to the blog and link up your Bright & Beautiful CAS cards!

Did you know...we are having a DT Call!

Would you like to be part of the AAA Cards Design Team? Well we're looking to add a few new team mates at the moment. If you'd like to be considered simply make a card for this new challenge and add DT after your name when you link up.

DT Call Info

1. You will need to have a blog.
2. You will need to have time to create a CAS card and submit it on time for each fortnightly (two week) challenge.
3. Your card will need to match both the challenge theme and the AAA Cards definition of CAS.
4. You will be assigned a column from the link ups and need to have the time to leave positive comments about player's cards.
5. You will be involved in voting to help pick the winner and runners up for each challenge.
6. It would be good if you have a facebook account as we have a DT facebook group where we chat about ideas etc.

The DT Call will remain open for the duration of this challenge and all successful applicants will be notified by 28th May at the latest. We're aiming to introduce the new DT on the challenge that starts 11th June.

Congratulations - A Blog Named Hero Anything Goes with Hero Arts

Hello everyone,

We are half way through out April challenge for A Blog Named Hero - Anything Goes with Hero Arts.

For my card today I wanted to use this candy stripe background stamp even though it is mostly for Christmas.

I stamped a card stock panel and also used the oval infinity dies to cut out the centre.  I then stamped out the lilies from the Layering Water Lily set with it's coordinating inks and then cut them out with the dies. I did use an extra green colour that did not come in the set for the buds.

I added foam tape to the die cut panel and then added it to the card base.  I stamped the sentiment from the Many Everyday Messages set with black ink before added the flowers so that I can get my block inside the cut out.  I then added the flowers to the card.

We hope you'll head over to our blog and link up your projects showing off your love for Hero Arts!

Thanks for stopping by,
See you again soon!

Happy Birthday - AAA Cards Game 88 - Stencil

Hello everyone,

We are back with a new game with AAA Cards - Stencils.

This is a technique I truly don't use enough but has such an impact.

For my card I have been loving this stencil and thought I'd use it again today.  I taped the stencil to the card base with low tack tape and used my coloured pencils to trace around the stencil lines.

I then stamped the sentiment with black ink and called the card done.  It doesn't have to be complicated or a lot of work to look good.

Our wonderful sponsor Stamplorations, is giving away product
specified by Shery, value up to $15 + 10% coupon offer for players so be sure to stop by.

Prize is $10 gift certificate to the winner. Also, a random drawing for a pack of 3 stencils to one player.

We hope you'll play along with us!

Thanks for stopping by, see you again soon!

AAA Cards Game 87 - Shiny Spring

Hello everyone,

We are back with a new game over at AAA Cards.  This is Game #87 - Shiny Spring.  Yes springs seems to be just around the corner and then winter shows up and reminds us that it's not quite ready to move on.

I started with the Lawn Fawn Leafy Tree die and cut it out of white card stock.  I then glued it to the card base with liquid adhesive and coloured in the leaves with my copics.

This is a very simple card to make when you're rushed for that quick yet pretty card.  This could be a birthday card or a welcome card.  The possibilities are endless.  You don't have to have complex to have great card.

We are so thankful to have Happy Little Stampers here with us
again giving you a chance to win a 15 gift certificate

We hope you'll join us with for our Shiny Spring challenge.

Thanks for stopping by, see you again soon!
