AAA Cards - Challenge #93 - Words Take Centre Stage

Hello everyone!

AAA Cards is  are back with new challenge and We'd like to see words, sentiments or quotes as the main focus of your card.

For my card today I chose to use the YOU die and cut that out of a patterned paper that I created from my stash.  The sentiment I used was a bit too long for the space so I cut it in half, don't worry I was gentle, and the added it on two lines.

I then added a few embellishments I found at Michaels and added them because they had a purple hue to them.  Unfortunately that didn't show in the pictures.

Our lovely sponsor for this game is Uniko and the winner has a choice of an in stock stamp set!

A Blog Named Hero - Chibitronics Interactive Challenge Mid-Month Inspiration

Hello everyone,

We are already half way through the month of June with our Chibitronics Challenge at A Blog Named Hero!  It's hard to believe that my summer is finally here!

We are so excited for this months collaboration, mind you I say that every month.  And we are excited for everyone we do and this one is no exception. The more I work with these LED lights the more I fall in love with them.

I used the Oxide distress inks in Worn Lipstick and Broken China to give it a Northern Lights type of feel to the watercolour.  I added some water splashes to the panel and wiped them up with paper towel. I then used the Hero Arts Star Confetti die and the Tim Holtz diffuser to only cut out the centre circle.

This is how I built the light up card.

Then I added the front panel to the base and when you press on the "S!" I took a piece of velum from my stash and added the die cut sentiment to it and added some perfect pearls water that I have mixed up on my desk.  Since I had all the lovely little stars cut out from the centre I didn't want to waste them so I added some to the front panel as well as the inside of the card.

I normally don't add anything to the inside so I did end up forgetting to take a picture of the inside of the card.  So sorry!

Thanks so much for stopping by, see you again soon!

AAA Cards Game 92 - Resist Technique

Hello everyone,

I just have to say thank you for all your support for our Birthday Bash Bloghop.  Our hearts are full with all of your lovely comments you took the time to share and your wonderful cards you took the time to link up.

Now on to our next game. AAA Cards Game 92 - Resist.

I started by heat embossing the sentiment with white embossing powder on to a piece of bristol card stock cut to an A2 sized card panel.

I then took my Zig clean colour brush markers and did a blue gradient and then I took an aqua brush and blended the colours in. I then added the enamel dots to finish off the card.

Our amazing sponsor is Happy Little Stampers and they are giving away a $20 gift certificate
